narrative and altered ego are my fav classes this semester. although you wouldn’t know it since i don’t seem to show up for class. i mean, NATALY was wondering about my presence in altered ego this past monday…
anyway, this project is for narrative and involves moments that invokes memories. it is also suposed to be 3 pages but i did 5 instead. why? well, 2 things really: 1. because i wanted a slower pace – its supposed to reminiscing about the past after all, and things tend to slow down when that happens, right? and 2. i wanted to push myself.

more explaining and – more importantly – the rest of the pics under the cut!
now this project was originally supposed to done traditionally with acrylics – i even got some work on that angle done. but alas my seventh course (an extra) reared its ugly head and i needed to get the paper done asap. but then again thats not really an excuse since i just really did some really bad time management on my part.
moving along, all the black and white stuff was done in cs2 with the colored figures done with ink and watercolor. now, i know the colors reek of crappiness but i have to say 2 things in my defense: 1. i suck at using watercolors, and 2. i just plain forgot that i only had six colors on hand here in oakville. oh well.

11×17 @ 300 dpi – ps cs2 & brush pen – watercolor (only have 6 six colors on me right now)

heya John!
good stuff! have confidence in your brushstrokes man! if your unhappy with the results then you should go back and re-do it as soon as possible, you’ll loose your enthusiasm for it as time goes by. I think it deserves the treatment that you had originally intended!
